A graduate of UC Irvine OJ Baclig has been creating independent films for over 7 years now which includes everything from narratives, documentaries, music videos and even video for special events. Many of his directorial works have been screened at various film festivals. A few of those films have actually received awards. His other skills include drawing/art/graphic design, music composition (guitar, piano, and vocals). His musical abilities can be heard every other Sunday as the 6:30pm choir director at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, in Whittier, CA.

John Serna
Writer - Producer
John has been actively working with OJ on independent films since 2004 and even before then (high school too!). He's a graduate of Stanford University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. As of now, he does project engineering for work and more or less the same thing for HopeBoat Films. His contributions (other than money) to HopeBoat include writing, casting, budgeting, equipment handling, equipment building, equipment fixing, video editing, production planning, shoot scheduling and the occasional purchase of a birthday cake! Often serving as the guy willing to push the "do-not-push" button, John uses independent film to take on the types of challenges that would otherwise never arrive.

Michael is a theatrically trained actor turned filmmaker, writer, and editor. His passion for films probably was not tied to owning a green iguana as a child. He hopes when he becomes Mister Universe and People Magazine's sexiest man both in the year 2032 it won't interfere with his love for the silver screen (or digital LCD screen).

George is a Los Angeles based photographer with over 20 years of experience photographing the human experience through street photography. His street photographs capture people in their natural element, going through life in all of its naturalness.
Recently, George has applied his skills to the challenging but ultimately satisfying art of wedding photography. In his words, "Photographing weddings was a natural next step for me. I've spent two decades capturing the the human experience and one of the ultimate expressions of the human experience is the love between two people."
George is also responsible for the amazing images used for all Jack Turner promos and graffics that you see on this site.
